My First Goal of 2017 Accomplished and I Want to Thank You!

On December 6, 2016 (just three weeks ago), I posted this image on my Instagram account.

It seemed like a distant dream at the time that the Infinite Planner would become a WILDLY successful website with 1000 subscribers (in my view, that’s a lot of people!)

But today I woke up to 1,099 subscribers at Infinite Planner!!

I was ready to put a whole year of work into getting that goal accomplished, but here I am sitting dumbfounded on January 2 to know that I just blew off my major New Year goal, thanks to all of you! I am so grateful and will work even harder on providing valuable blog posts and juicy free printables!

With love and hugs,

Jah @ Infinite Planner

The Infinite Planner Etsy shop – Home of Printable Bullet Journal Templates

Here’s a short and sweet post introducing the Infinite Planner shop, the home of bullet journal templates. I put a lot of hard work into this project, and I am so very proud of what has come out of all that sweat and tears!

For the longest time, I sought after planner peace. I have had four Erin Condren planners, filofaxes of all sizes, and tons of notebooks lying around. I have also tried all the productivity apps out there (name me any app released on LifeHacker in the last few years, I have tried them all!) Still I didn’t feel like I had my organizational system together in a way to perfectly suit my needs.

When I found out about bullet journal I was impressed with how simple it is to get started and how little effort it is to maintain. After going all in with bullet journal for almost 6 months, I have developed tons of printable pages that I created for my own planner. I realized it’s time to create a shop to share my love for the bullet journal world!

So here we are, the Infinite Planner shop, the place you can find a collection of well-designed printable bullet journal templates!

I have put a lot of thought into designing these pages. First, since bullet journal is about organizing your life with little mental footprint, I designed all pages to be printed quickly and effortlessly. These pages are meant to be printed on A5 papers and inserted into your planner right away. This paper is super cheap, so you can print as many pages as you’d like without breaking the bank! If you want a walk through of the whole process, feel free to check out my simple guide to bullet journal printing.

If you use discbound or ring-bound organizers, these printables are perfect for you! I carefully design each and every page so that they can be punched on either side of the paper without damaging the design.

This means you can arrange my pages however you’d like. Each and every page can be a left page, right page, double-sided page, no problem whatsoever! This is the simplest way to achieve a truly customized planner that fits your life exactly!

I also realized that planning is not just about getting organized. It’s also about having fun and loving what you see on the paper. That’s why I incorporate cute and fun designs to enrich your visual planning experience.

A Little Bit about Me and Welcome to Infinite Planner!

I have been leaving this blog empty for a while, but today I decided is the day I properly write my first post!

So Hi! Let me introduce myself. I name is Jah. I am starting this blog primarily to share my love for planners and bullet journaling. If you meet me in real life you would not have guessed I am one of the planner girls. In my day job, I teach college-level computer science and work as a tech consultant. You will see me babbling about math and algorithms all day (like the nerd that I am). At home though, I spend lots of time with my giant piles of planners, pens, and stickers — and a little bit of time with my very understanding husband :).

I am starting this blog at an interesting time of my life. I love my day job in tech and academia (a lot of fun stuff happening there everyday); on the other hand, I found myself addicted to the world of entrepreneurs. I always wanted to own a business since I was a little girl. When I was 10, I used to publish handmade magazines and sold them to my pen pals (I proudly made $0.50 profit with that idea). I also wrote 2 poetry books (thank god they were not published) and recorded a kid’s story podcast (which then became a birthday gift for my best friend). So yes, I was a boss. At some point before college, I decided that I am a bright person and math is for bright people, so I decided to study math and loved it too. Fast forward 11 years, here I am enjoying my academic life.

Even though my life has taken an interesting turn, I have always tried to start a business. During PhD, while I was stressing out about writing dissertation, I started an Etsy shop (after a handful of less than successful entrepreneurial endeavors on my track record throughout college). I have zero knowledge about arts and taught myself Adobe Illustrator from scratch. After a lot of sweat and tears, the shop has taken off and became quite successful. That shop has given me quite a bit of passive income, which reduced a lot of stress in my life. Two years after starting my first shop, here I am now trying to start another Easy shop, Infinite Planner. While there are so many creative genius planner ladies out there, I hope to be an example of an art-illiterate person that has a cute planner too, yeah!

I have learned a lot… a LOT of things from my past successes and failures. So this time around, I want to start a business that is an extension of the wiser me. I want to create values, to share my experiences, my knowledge, and inspire others to take actions towards their dreams. This blog is where I intend to share everything. I will not only blog about planners, but also how to actually achieve your planned dreams (isn’t that what a planner is for?). I will also ramble about self-development, entrepreneurship, and technology (I am a tech person after all). I hope you enjoy this one-of-its-kind blog in the planet internet :)!

With love and hugs,

Jah
